We are now looking for two network technicians for an assignment in a mission-critical IT environment with high demands on availability, security, and stable operations. The assignment is a temporary position for parental leave and involves broad responsibilities within the operation, management, and further development of network infrastructure.

As a network technician/infrastructure specialist, you will work with data communication and network environments (routing and switching) for office networks and mission-critical systems. You will contribute both operationally and strategically, in close collaboration with management, security functions, and other IT teams.

About the Role

The role entails overall responsibility for ensuring stable and secure network operations while participating in improvement work, changes, and technical development. You are an important specialist resource and serve as support for both internal operations and external parties.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage incidents and problems through analysis, troubleshooting, and actions in collaboration with the 24/7 monitoring function
• Act as a specialist and primary contact for network-related issues
• Provide technical support to operations, other IT systems, and external parties
• Implement changes, upgrades, and orders according to established IT processes
• Participate in technical requirement specifications and develop technical solution proposals
• Engage in testing, such as functional tests during troubleshooting and further development
• Ensure good documentation such as network diagrams, system documentation, and operational procedures
• Work with IT security issues to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered for the assignment, you need to have:

• Certification in networking, at least one of the following: CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE
• At least 2 years of work experience as a network technician in the last 5 years in a medium to large network environment, covering at least approximately 5,000 users and at least 10 sites
• At least 2 years of experience working in high availability environments
• Fluent Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Experience equivalent to competence level 2 (2–5 years of relevant experience, independent work with some leadership)

Desirable Requirements (Meritorious)

It is meritorious if you also have:

• At least two network certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in network automation, such as with Ansible, Python, Cisco Catalyst Center, or equivalent tools
• At least 1 year of practical experience in lifecycle management of central network infrastructure
• At least 1 year of experience working in environments with classified or sensitive information
